Ted Young

Assistant Police Chief, Marble Falls Police, Retired

My wife and I have resided in Marble Falls for 27+ years. I became a member of the Marble Falls Police Department in 1994 and retired in 2018.

I am announcing my support for Jeff Sellers for Justice of the Peace, precinct 3. I have known Jeff for 20+ years. He is well known for his volunteer service in the community and State during natural disasters.

I have found Jeff to be a caring, compassionate, intelligent man willing to listen to all sides of issues. He believes in God, Family and our Country with all his heart which is proven by his wife and adult children and their accomplishments in the U.S. Military and nursing fields.

Shortly after I retired from the Marble Falls PD I had the opportunity to work alongside Jeff in his school safety & security business and Texas School Guardian Program. Please join me in supporting Jeff Sellers for Justice of the Peace, precinct 3, Burnet County.

Gail Wood

Retired Army Colonel, Realtor, LTC Instructor

It is with great pleasure that I recommend support for Jeff Sellers for Burnet County precinct 3 Justice of the Peace. I have known Jeff for several years and he is highly qualified for the position.

I have worked with Jeff in firearms training. He has proven himself to be organized, efficient and extremely competent. His communication skills, both written and verbal are excellent.

Jeff has always displayed a high degree of integrity, responsibility, and strong leadership skills. His good judgement and mature outlook endure a logical and practical approach to his endeavors.

I highly recommend Jeff Sellers for Justice of the Peace, and happy to give my wholehearted endorsement.

R. Jeff Nash

Retired Justice of the Peace

I met Jeff in 1988 when my family and I moved to Round Rock. We attended high school together and quickly became friends.

I served and retired from the Military after 25 years as a Captain, four years in the Marines and the remainder in the Army. I am a combat veteran having served overseas in Iraq in the early years of that engagement.

I was appointed as a municipal Judge and elected as a JP for all of Coleman County, Texas. I fully understand what characteristics make a well-rounded Judge for a community of people. Jeff has what it takes and has shown throughout his life that he is not only well-suited, but ready to take on such a role. He is professional, courteous, decisive, a strong communicator, one who craves knowledge through research and he is compassionate.

Jeff's service helping keep our schools safe exemplifies his true volunteer spirit, willingness to give back to his community and that he is committed to what he believes in. Jeff is also a true conservative.

The role of a JP is often misunderstood. It is far more technical and requires more commitment than most truly know. I wholeheartedly recommend Jeff Sellers for Justice of the Peace, he is a true leader.

Race Car Driver

I have known Jeff Sellers for over 20 years. He has done side work for my race teams and has served on my children's foundation for the past 10 years.

Jeff communicates well and makes educated decisions, not emotional decisions. He is also well organized and gets along with everybody.

I highly recommend Jeff Sellers for Justice of the Peace.

Joe B

Retired Law Enforcement

I've personally known Jeff for several years and worked alongside him on investigations, private security and consulting. He is an honest family man who is always willing to lend a helping hand.

He is cool under pressure and a cornucopia of impressive knowledge and skills. He's analytical and fair with his approach to problem solving and decision making. He always strives to make a positive difference in what he sets out to achieve.

Jeff's resolve and follow-through are hallmarks any person would admire. In my opinion those qualities make a well-rounded person. I wholeheartedly believe Jeff would be an invaluable asset as Justice of the Peace in Burnet County.

David Solomon

Retired School Superintendent

I was in public education for almost 45 years and served as the Marble Falls High School Principal in the early 2000's.

I have known the Sellers family since 1976 and Jeff Sellers since he was 5 which is about 45 years. I was his Principal from Elementary through part of high school.

Jeff has always been driven and a seeker of justice. As a student he always helped with school activities such as A/C, safety patrol, flag duty, JROTC and was the DJ for most of our school dances and outdoor events.

Jeff is organized and communicates well and loves meeting new people and being involved in his community.

Calvin Tidwell

Retired Law Enforcement

I wholeheartedly support Jeff Sellers in his run for the office of Burnet County precinct 3 Justice of the Peace.

I have lived in Burnet County for 30+ years and I have had the pleasure of knowing Jeff for several years. I found him to be very professional, generous and compassionate during our association.

His years of volunteer service in the community, schools and The State of Texas are testimonial to his generosity.

His development of his school guardian program to protect kids is evidence of his professionalism and compassion.

Gary Griffin

Retired Texas Constable

I would like to take this opportunity to convey tot he Constituents of Burnet County my heartfelt endorsement of Jeff Sellers, a true Republican for Burnet County Justice of the Peace, precinct 3.

As a past elected Constable 1996-2008 I feel like the Justice of the Peace is the most important Magistrate in County Government. A Constable is the Chief law enforcement officer of the Justice Court.

Jeff Sellers possesses the knowledge and more important the ideology required for a JP. I have worked with him on the Special Security Unit and found him to be very decisive and competent. Jeff's work with NASA as a private investigator, fugitive recovery, Military and law enforcement provide him a vast knowledge base.

Jeff has been instrumental working with law enforcement and Texas schools in developing the School Guardian Program.

Jeff has a very common sense approach to any issue placed before him. Jeff recognizes that a JP must represent every citizen regardless of political affiliation, race or economic status.
